Dakabin State High School are now involved in a number of new extracurricular sporting competitions. On top of our long-standing Basketball commitment in BOSL we now enter teams in both Male and Female competitions for Volleyball, Touch Football, Netball and Futsal. This gives so many new students the opportunity to represent the school and compete in high quality sporting competitions within the local community. Dakabin compete to a very high standard within these competitions and we are looking to build more and more teams into these BOSL competitions over the years.
We have also entered teams in a number of external competitions this year. Some examples of these are the All Schools OzTag, Touch Football and Volleyball Tournaments, the Vicki Wilson Cup Netball tournament, the Justin Hodges Rugby League 9's competition and the Sunshine Coast South Rugby League competition. We will continue to build our involvement in a variety of tournaments as we seek to give our students access to some of the best sporting opportunities available.
