Enrolment Interviews are conducted each Wednesday and student inductions are held on Monday mornings by the HOD Junior Secondary. Future Year 7 students attend group enrolments throughout Terms 2, 3 and 4. Enrolment interviews are also conducted during the Student Free days at the start of the year. Please ensure that you have the relevant paperwork completed prior to arriving for the Enrolment Interview.

Students have a staggered start to the school year. The Year 7, 11 and 12 begin school on the first school day of the school year. Years 8, 9 and 10 begin at Dakabin State High School on the second day of the school year. The staggered start enables Dakabin State High School to provide an individual and targeted cohort Assembly in the Hall which includes a thorough and intensive roll out of their policies, procedures and practices for the school year.
