At Dakabin State High School we offer a number of services that assist our students with potential issues in their personal lives. All these services are professional and confidential, and ultimately allow our students to do the best they can in their class. Our Support Team consists of two Guidance Officers, Chaplain, Youth Support Workers, School Nurse and School Based Police Officer.
All the Support Team have specialist training and qualifications, providing personal counselling in areas of relationships, individual safety and crisis management, helping manage student behavioural difficulties, assistance with study skills, subject and course selection, and career planning and decision making and assessing students' placement and specialist support needs.
